Where is Homografiska?

Our physical museum is located at Bruket Fengersfors, Dalsland. For more detailed information, click on *visit.

We are also here on our website where you can access our entire archive, audio guide and videos. So in other words, we are everywhere.

When was Homografiska founded?

The museum was founded physically and digitally in 2020.

What is the basis of Homografiska?

The museum cherishes storytelling and representation. Through our activities, we can show a nuanced picture of the impact of history. The Homografiska Museum turns on history and gives you something to think about. We ask ourselves the question, detached from reality; what would our society and our history look like if queer/homo/trans were the norm and heterosexuality was the deviant factor? How would people's lives and destinies be represented and how would it be depicted in history books.

Our opening hours follow Not Quite's opening hours. We try to keep our program and opening hours regularly updated under the *visits tab. But if you feel unsure, you can always visit the NQ website.
